Que voulez-vous exprimer par là ?</span><span style="line-height: 19px; " class="style_5"><br /></span></p> <p class="paragraph_style_7"><span style="line-height: 19px; " class="style_5">Walter Wilhelm : L’Europe tout au moins se passionnera en juin prochain pour le Championnat d’Europe de football, l’Euro 08. Notre thème se rattache à cet événement, mais sur la base de la Parole de Dieu. Philippiens 3.12 attire l’attention sur le fait que c’est le Christ qui met l’Église en mouvement. Nous voulons avant tout saisir la balle au bond en restant ses disciples et talonner ce Christ. En outre, le prix est raisonnable par rapport à toutes les autres localités de la région de Bâle. La Conférence annuelle, qui aura lieu durant ce grand mois du football, a choisi de ne pas rester sur la touche, mais de saisir la balle au bond. Aussi, est-ce sous le titre « Saisissons la balle au bond ! » que nous vous invitons très cordialement à la session de la Conférence annuelle Suisse — France — Afrique du Nord, qui se tiendra du 26 au 29 juin 2008 à St Chrischona, à Bâle, Suisse. Le contenu de notre programme, qui veut que nous prenions la balle au bond, revêt cependant pour nous une dimension différente de celle du plus beau sport au monde, le football : le thème de la Conférence reposera en effet sur un verset de Philippiens 3.12 : </span><span style="line-height: 19px; " class="style_8">Je ne prétends pas que j’aie déjà atteint le but ou que je sois déjà devenu parfait. Mais je continue à avancer pour m’efforcer de saisir le prix de la course, car Jésus-Christ m’a déjà saisi.</span><span style="line-height: 19px; " class="style_5"> Ce Jésus, nous voulons le suivre et être prêts à saisir la balle au bond dans tout ce qui touche à notre condition de disciples.
